Zane Wilcox

I currently make two lines of production wares. My Oilspot line is based in strong forms and rich, minimal surfaces. My Blue and White line has simple, clear forms and rich glazed surfaces that explore contrast and motion. Both lines are designed to fit naturally into contemporary domestic settings, and with an equal emphasis on beauty and function.

I periodically find the time to make more elaborate functional work in the studio. I usually start with a few ideas, then work in series to explore them. Teapots, vases and serving bowls are the formats that I typically use in this work.
